Do I need an account?

No. Tap Continue as guest on the first screen and you can use the app straight away. Sign in with Apple sits beside it and is optional — it backs your progress up and carries it to a new phone, and it's needed if you subscribe.

The app marked my letter wrong, but I wrote it correctly

Handwriting recognition isn't perfect, especially on characters that differ by a single small stroke. Tap the flag icon on the result and the drawing is sent to us so we can improve it. Drawing large, filling most of the box, and using a single continuous stroke where the letter allows it all help.

What's free, and what does Premium add?

The full Fidel chart, the guided courses, the quizzes and the numbers section are free, and stay free. Everyone gets a set number of handwriting checks to try. Fidel Scribe Premium makes the handwriting checks unlimited and adds the write-a-word drill and progress statistics.

How do I restore a subscription on a new phone?

Open Profile → Fidel Scribe Premium and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it on.

When does my subscription renew?

Open Profile → Fidel Scribe Premium in the app. The card shows the date it renews, or the date access ends if you've already turned auto-renew off.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. Tap Manage subscription on that same card, or open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, pick Fidel Scribe and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops the next payment — it isn't a refund, and Premium stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Profile and tap Delete account at the bottom. This removes your profile and progress. You can also email us and we'll do it for you.

Does it work offline?

The chart, courses and quizzes need a connection to sync your progress. Checking a handwritten letter always needs one, because the drawing is scored on our server.
